Internship (stage): Visual Merchandising in Schiphol-Rijk

Yamaha Motor Europe (YME) is responsible for coordinating the marketing and sales activities of Yamaha Motor products in the European marketplace, mainly: Yamaha motorcycles and scooters, marine outboard engines, Wave runner water vehicles, 4-wheel All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s), golf cars, snowmobiles and generators. For YME, for the Division Parts & Accessories, located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands we are looking for an enthusiastic Visual Merchandising Intern

40 uur per week
€500 Per maand

Wat ga je doen?

  • Support in planning and creating a Visual Merchandising guidelines for the Accessories, Apparel and Novelties area at the Yamaha dealers in Europe
  • Contact and visit different European branches/ distributors
  • Market research through visiting different European dealerships
  • Analysis and suggestions about the current VI furniture
  • Define seasonal content for apparel/accessories
  • Support in the development of a VM training system for Yamaha sales staff and dealers.

Wat wij vragen:

  • Minimaal hbo werk- en denkniveau;
  • You are looking for an appropriate internship for at least 6 months, full time
  • Relevant design related experience, either through part time jobs or volunteer experiences
  • Passion for visual merchandising and store planning topics and preferably Yamaha’s products and lifestyle
  • Ability to stay flexible and adaptable
  • Strong interpersonal skills that complement a proactive, solution driven, team-oriented work ethic
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written), other languages are an asset
