The design team is responsible for all the fabric designs at Joolz. For example our cot fabrics as or the fabric of our nursery bags.
Your Role
-Conduct research on industry trends, user preferences, and market demands to inform design decisions.
-Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide input for product improvement and innovation.
-Assist in the prototyping process, including 3D modeling and physical mock-ups.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing, to help ensure design feasibility and production readiness.
-Perform other design-related tasks as assigned.
What we are looking for
-Following a relevant industrial design study (HBO or WO);
-You live in the Amsterdam area;
-Medium to strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
-You can sketch and render design concepts effectively.
-It would be great if you have some knowledge of design principles materials, manufacturing processes, and product development.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being open to feedback and direction from the design team.
-And ofcourse, as a design intern you have a creative mindset with a passion for design!
