SECOPS (REMOTE internship)

At Zimmerman we constantly push ourselves to think differently and forge new data solutions in the humanitarian sector. By joining our team, you will work on the bleeding edge of data information products for visual design, data visualisation and user experience for guiding users in data rich systems for global and local organisations. We are looking for energetic co-op students to strengthen our Technical team in a work environment that offers an exciting mix of opportunities, a collaborative and dynamic team of technology professionals, and the opportunity to work with leading Security technologies..

Wat ga je doen?

As a member of the technical team, your main role is to help with security operation efforts, supporting existing security tools and be part of our security monitoring and log analysis, provide sound advice in terms of related matters. If you are highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn, then we want to hear from you

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Review and update documentation for policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
  • Assist with vulnerability assessments.
  • Assist with weekly SOC tasks & duties to possibly include: reporting, log analysis, incident response, threat hunting

What we offer you

  • Remote work is part of the deal as well as working with our remote team in Cyprus and Holland.
  • Flexible working hours as in starting that Daily Team call 09:30 sharp~ish. We are looking for an intern who will join us for at least 4 days a week (32 hours).
  • A question-happy, communication-happy atmosphere. We all keep learning by doing, and we want you to learn with us. Ideas or challenges, we talk and try and solve them as a team. Slack, fun, hard work. Not too many meetings. Compensation €350 for each month
