Internship International Risk Analyst in Den Haag

De (financiële) wereld is de afgelopen jaren ingrijpend veranderd. Mede daardoor is de verzekeringsmarkt continu in beweging. Met onze producten en diensten willen we bij Aegon mensen in staat stellen financieel gezond oud te worden.

Beschrijving

Do you want to support Aegon in designing, evaluating and transforming SIRA processes, controls and infrastructure to be more efficient and smarter by using data and technology? In that case we have an interesting opportunity.

Having a strong and effective SIRA (Systematic Integrity Risk Analysis) is an explicit focus area of Aegon Management Board and the Dutch regulator ‘De Nederlandsche Bank’ (DNB). As the largest insurer in the Netherlands, but also providing asset management and banking services, Aegon uses SIRA to get a grip of all the integrity risks. We embrace a global SIRA approach that enables us to not only manage integrity risks, but also provides strategic insight that leads to a sustainable competitive advantage.

As an intern, you will be actively involved in designing, executing our SIRA and develop your project management back office skills. You will be based at Aegon's headquarters in the Hague, the Netherlands but as Aegon is a global player, travelling to our (European) business units is certainly an option.

About the department

The Regulatory Compliance team within Aegon is globally responsible for anti-money laundering and terrorist finance, fraud and sanctions oversight and a broad range of compliance topics such as privacy, solvency II and whistleblowers fall under our scope. Our team consists of about 15 diverse men and women from different international backgrounds.

Profile - Who are you?

What we offer
We offer an exciting internship in an international and inspiring work environment at one of the leading financial institutions. All this is done in a flexible, dynamic working environment with nice and enthusiastic colleagues. At Aegon, freedom and responsibility are of paramount importance. We think cooperation, performance and a good atmosphere are more important than status or hierarchy. At Aegon there is a lot of attention for coaching. We offer you the preconditions for your success. You will be coached during the internship by (an) experienced colleague (s) and there is an appropriate internship allowance. You will receive a competitive internship compensation.

It is required to be enrolled at a university (HBO/ WO) to take part in this internship. This is not a graduation internship. Generally we assume you have a Dutch bank account and if you are a non EU/EER student, you will need a valid residence permit stating that you may work ('arbeid vrij toegestaan').
