As a Social Media Intern, you'll be supporting and her team! You’ll be coordinating all organic content on TravelBird’s social media channels. You’ll work closely with the Social Organic and wider Marketing teams, as well as country teams, coordinating content for our 10 Facebook pages and global Instagram account. You’ll be involved in the whole process from planning through to execution - brainstorming creative ideas that support our marketing objectives and tell our brand story, creating content and sourcing translations, and scheduling activity for all channels. You’ll also keep an eye on the numbers, measuring the engagement of posts to optimise content and inform future social strategy. Your tasks
  • Planning and scheduling posts for TravelBird’s social media channels;
  • Creating and coordinating content (copy and visuals) for posts, often involving different stakeholders throughout the company;
  • Analysis of post-performance based on KPIs and creative/brand guidelines
  • Brand storytelling: concept and development of campaigns and one-off stories in line with our brand positioning;
  • Translating commercial and marketing objectives into engaging social posts;
  • Keeping abreast of social media trends and constantly looking for ways to innovate in order to drive growth and deliver on our KPIs.
Who you are
  • Studying a relevant subject (Marketing, Communications, Branding or similar)*;
  • A passionate, savvy social media user;
  • Excellent communication skills, both for writing copy and liaising with other teams;
  • A confident project manager, with a keen sense of time-management and attention to detail;
  • Preferably completed a former internship in social media, marketing or public relations;
  • An enthusiastic team player, capable of also working independently;
  • An innovative thinker with awareness of industry/social media news as well as competitor activity;
  • Fluent in English - both spoken and written; any additional languages would be a plus;
  • Available for a minimum period of 5 months full-time (no research);
  • Living in Amsterdam or willing to move.

* You must be a student during the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution)
