Aegon is looking for an intern that wants to solve intricate issues in a dynamic working environment. As an intern you will be working in the Corporate Center Risk team on projects both from a quantitaive financial and operational risk perspective. You will work closely with the team on the ongoing projects, but there is also room for a thesis. Depending on your profile, the topics may range from purely quantitative to matters involving operational risk or regulatory affairs.
 
The team
The Corporate Center Risk team is responsible for overseeing and monitoring Aegon’s centralized activities, leads various global risk projects and/or initiatives, and advises the Group Chief Risk Officer on the impact of regulatory and industry developments. Requirements
Your profile

• Bachelor (third year) / Master student specializing in quantitative field (such as physics, astronomy, mathematics, quantitavive finance or econometrics);
• You are currently enrolled at a University;
• Strong communication skills, being able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
• Not afraid to work on the unknowns and eager to learn;
• Comfortable with working in an international environment;
• Fluency in English;
• Available for 3-6 months

Important note:
It is required to be enrolled at a university to take part in this internship. Next to that you will need a Dutch BSN-number and Dutch bank account. If you are a non EU/EER student, you will need a valid residence permit stating that you may work ('arbeid vrij toegestaan'). Applications that do not fulfill this criteria cannot be taken into consideration.
