As an intern you will work for six months within ABN AMRO’s Equity Research team. The team is responsible for investment recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell) to institutional investors which form the foundation of our service to clients in Europe and the US. Our team’s coverage includes Benelux corporates, European real estate, and European Energy, Commodities & Transportation (ECT) stocks. Beyond the regular stock coverage, we are also involved in a variety of Equity Capital Markets transactions such as initial public offerings (IPOs) and rights issues. We are the number 1 broker in the Benelux and our ambition is to retain this position going forward.

You will be part of the Consumer sector team, which consists of two analysts who cover the food and beverage sectors. During your internship you will assist the analysts with financial modelling work and in writing company-specific and sector-wide research. The position will be based in Amsterdam, at ABN AMRO’s headquarters.

Candidates need to fulfil the following requirements:


•    University education (Master students or last year Bachelor students) with excellent grades
•    A proven affinity with financial markets
•    Self-starter, able to work independently
•    Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
•    No 9 to 5 mentality
