And this year in the Czech Republic, we launched Aegon FIT - a life-insurance service that incentivizes those with a higher Body Mass Index rather than penalizing them.
 
Join our international Center of Excellence (CoE) for Digital. We’re a group of digital experts that excel in what they do – from Business development, to Data Analytics, and Digital Marketing to UX. We are currently searching for an Business Development intern for the Digital strategy and business development team in the CoE. The internship will start February 1 and is for a period of 6 months. 

 
Functie
Function description
The position is based in The Hague and is supervised by the Head of the Centre of Excellence for Digital Strategy and Business Development

• As a business development intern, you will have a unique opportunity to support and contribute to Aegon’s digital transformation in Europe and Asia
• You will be in close contact with people within the country units in order to support them in developing, testing, and implementing digital initiatives
• Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and digital trends.
• Together with the team of business developers you will manage the project pipeline from ideas towards implementation
  1. Facilitate cross-functional and multi-country team collaboration
  2. Research unchartered territory and advice senior management
  3. Lead design and execution phases for high impact initiatives
  4. Facilitate country units with testing and implementation.

Job Requirements

• You have finished an university bachelor degree or equivalent  
• You have strong communication skills, you know how to connect, convince, and inspire others
• You are an organised thinker who can present information and conclusions properly and concisely
• You are enthusiastically ambitious and you want to help transform our company into a leading, customer-oriented financial services organisation
• You are motivated to develop yourself by challenging yourself continuously
• You take responsibility for the opportunities and threats you identify in the market
• Candidates are required to be fluent in English. Speaking multiple languages is considered an advantage
