Wat ga je doen?

During the project, you will work closely together with students in a department or management group that has a specific task, consisting ou of 2-6 students. On average the whole group consists out of 30 students who all are working as hard as the can on finishing the project on time.

Because the project is fully organized by students with the support of THAUS. There are various jobs that need to be fulfilled. This allows you to develop yourself in your areas of interest in addition to what you are studying. The key teams and their operations are mentioned underneath.

• Engineers, work on everything that is necessary to design and build the car. The key departments from this team are: Vehicle Dynamics, Chassis, Bodywork, Powertrain, Electrics
• Management, to be able to successfully build a car management is necessary. Goals need to be set and planning needs to be made, so the car is finished on time. Also, finance plays is an important part of this, since the budget and orders need to be managed. The key roles of this team are: System Engineer, Project Manager and Financial Manager.
• Operations, In order to make the race car, there are other tasks of importance that needs to be carried out. From supporting the students during the project to organising events and managing stakeholders. Al these roles play a vital role which can make or break the project. The key roles are: Partnerships, Marketing, social media and Human Resource.

• Both the subject-related and personal learning objectives of the student are in line with the objectives of the project and can be realized in the context of the project.
• Letter of application with motivation including curriculum vitae, in the application.
• An intake interview with the project leader of the relevant project is part of the admission process. After receiving the letter of application, the student is invited for an intake interview.
• You have an affinity with operational tasks, management or technology.
• A hands-on mentality: the ability to translate analysis in concrete actions and focus on execution
• Basic knowledge in English (both in speech and writing)
