Commercial data science internship in Eindhoven

At DAF we use multiple regression models to prescribe sales prices, we see several possible input variables that show nonlinear behavior that we would like to integrate.

Where possible this is solved with manual transformation of segmentation, But for more complex time series data we are looking for more robust and automated (python) ways of transformation.

For explanatory reasons  the end result should be transformed data that can be used in a multiple regression model.​

Jouw profiel

We are looking for a student with a data science (or related) study, to investigated several posible sollutions. (we are thinking avout vector auto regression) and  come up with a python based sollution to integrate a transformed dataset into our regression models

Afdeling

within the department Trucks Commercial we have an available assignment for a internship project or an Graduate Assignment. Our department is responsible for price setting and analysis of our trucks, and is a part of the DAF Marketing and sales department.
