Intern Visual Merchandising - Start June 2020 in Amsterdam

We are currently looking for a full-time Intern Visual Merchandising from June 2020 on for a minimum duration of 6 months who can provide support in day-to-day tasks within the Visual Merchandising department. 

Key Responsibilities are:

• Assisting the VM manager and supporting the visual merchandising team with global activities
• Providing hands-on support for store VM activities as required (dedicated window launches, events, product launches)
• Assisting with the graphical production and creation of VM tools such as seasonal & permanent VM Guidelines
• Creation of graphic artworks for product launches or promotional activities
• 3D rendering support as well as research and preparation for new store openings
• Support global partners with seasonal updates (signage, ADV images etc.)
• Latest window installation image update on Karl.com
• Prepare presentations on current projects and summaries on past projects
• Manage smaller projects independently
• Support the VM team with store openings
• Administrative support for office related tasks

Skills, Eductaion and Experience:

• Bachelor in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design or Graphic design study
• Language: fluent in English, both verbal and written and ideally French and/or German speaking
• Good to excellent knowledge and confidence in the use of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, 3D rendering software skills such as SketchUp Pro is a plus
• Familiar with MS office
