Data Science Intern in Utrecht

As a Data Science intern (Experimentation), together with your supervisor, you will develop and implement Bayesian hypothesis testing methods for online randomized controlled experiments using Python (PyMC3), and evaluate the practical usefulness of the Bayesian methods for analyzing experiments at bol.com. We pay a lot of attention to the effective translation of results to concrete actions, implementations and/or recommendations during your internship. This will allow you to cover the complete process from challenge to solution.

• Preferably you study Statistics, Econometrics, Biostatistics, psychometrics, or are enrolled in a comparable degree program;
• Knowledge of Bayesian statistics and frequentist statistics;
• Experience with programming in Python (PyMC3) and R;
• Available for 4 or 5 days a week and at least 3 months.

Note: For all of our internships, you have to be enrolled at an educational institution for the complete duration of the internship at bol.com.
