About Treasury Trading & Services 

Treasury Trading & Services provides efficient and cost effective cash, liquidity, currency and collateral management across Aegon globally. The team consist of front office traders and back office manager, and execute over EUR 120bn of foreign exchange transactions and manage over EUR 13bn cash assets. Annually approximately 200k wires are processes comprising over EUR 2.000bn in cash flows.

On the job experience
As a part of the Treasury Back Office team, you will gain hands-on experience in Treasury Services, helping transaction processing including confirmation processing of cash, money markets, collateral and foreign exchange transactions and related payments and settlements. You will build your technical skills and knowledge of the financial services industry and treasury products in particular.

Profile
As an Intern you have good communication and interpersonal skills and you are able to work under pressure in a team and on individual basis. In addition, you have a good analytical background. Moreover, the following qualifications are required for this internship:

• 3rd of 4th year Bachelor level (HBO) in business economics or similar financial background;
• Sharp analytical and communication skills;
• Proficient in Dutch and English;
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Access VBA and other automated software;
• Ability to learn quickly;
• Available in February 2020 for at least 5 months;
• Team player; flexible attitude, no 9 to 5 mentality.

Important note:
It is required to be enrolled at a university to take part in this internship. Next to that you will need a Dutch BSN-number and Dutch bank account. If you are a non EU/EER student, you will need a valid residence permit stating that you may work ('arbeid vrij toegestaan'). Applications that do not fulfill this criteria cannot be taken into consideration.
