The Supply Chain Internship Opportunity:
As a Supply Chain Intern (up to and including 3rd year), your main project will focus on analyzing and optimizing the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process within our Exact ERP system. You will map out how Smarter Living should structure and use the MRP process to enhance operations. This includes identifying areas of improvement, recommending best practices, and ensuring alignment with our supply chain strategy.
In addition to this, you will support our broader supply chain department to ensure smooth operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Intern:
- Analyze the MRP process in Exact to ensure proper setup and usage for Smarter Living.
- Propose improvements to optimize our inventory planning and procurement processes.
- Gather and analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and suggest operational enhancements.
- Plan and execute supply chain optimization initiatives.
- Track and report on KPIs related to supply chain performance.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects to drive improvements.

What We're Looking For:
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Interest or background in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ERP systems (experience with Exact is a plus).
- Student in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field (HBO level).
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
- Familiarity with MS Office and relational databases.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
