ABOUT THE DEN ‘S-HERTOGENBOSCH

The Den, 's-Hertogenbosch, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, opened its doors in March 2022, as part of the Odyssey Hotel Group and franchise of Marriott International. With its location between city and nature, The Den is easily accessible and within walking distance of the city centre and the central station of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

Current, the only Rooftop Restaurant & Bar in 's-Hertogenbosch, is where you will get the ultimate culinary experience. Discover this new, cosmopolitan destination with amazing views over the historic city and its green surroundings. At Current, you will enjoy the finest wines, best cocktails and the tastiest dishes. With the use of seasonal products and with worldly influences, we bring the best flavours to your table. The restaurant, bar and roof terrace are open from Wednesday until Saturday for lunch, dinner & drinks. On weekdays the atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, on weekends the energy is as weekends should be. It's all about the vibe!

Current Rooftop Restaurant & Bar is located in Paleiskwartier, just a 10-minute walk from the central station of 's-Hertogenbosch. From the Paleisbrug, there is direct access to the lift that takes you upstairs. Find us on top of The Den!

THE POSITION
We are looking for a dedicated Intern to join our Food & Beverage team at Current Rooftop, contributing to our success at both literal and figurative heights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivering consistent, high-quality service.
• Welcoming guests and taking their orders.
• Explaining dishes and advising guests on complementary drinks.
• Preparing invoices.
• Tidying and cleaning workplaces during and after shifts.
• Building a pleasant working relationship with the kitchen staff.
• Adhering to the guidelines of Tribute Portfolio & Marriott International.

HOW YOU'LL DO IT

• Working in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
• Being easy going with a friendly, hospitable attitude.
• Proactively asking questions when needed.
• Maintaining a self-motivated and proactive attitude.
• Paying close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bringing energy and fun to the role.

• An MBO or HBO degree in Hotel Management or a related fields
• A passion for hospitality and hotels.
• Fluency in both English and Dutch, written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Team player mentality with flexibility.
