THE ROLE

The Store Design Intern will support the team in the coordination of the execution, implementation, and maintenance of retail design projects. Assisting in the development of technical details and prototypes with contractors/suppliers. Support in the development of store design and maintenance. The main objective is ensuring a consistent and highly qualitative execution of the brand image, respecting the guidelines, strategy and timing.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main projects

  • Technical drawings: Prepare furniture Booklet and technical Details in AutoCAD/Sketchup
  • Research: Coordinate with team the research of new suppliers and coordinate sample deliveries. Create and update supplier database
  • Shop Drawings: Review execution drawings for products from manufacturers and review with Store Designer
  • Pre-Design: Assist w/ Layout plans, Elevations, Sections and Details (when needed)

Asset Management: Support in the identification, updating, and monitoring of the different technical installations present in our stores (store asset database).

Other

  • Assist with all stages of the Store Development process and participate in meetings (Kick off calls, store opening visits, supplier visits or meetings) by keeping reports
  • Assist Team w/ various presentations
  • Update Smartsheet & Participate in weekly status meetings

THE PROFILE:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Interior Design/Engineering
  • Experience/Interest in Retail Design and Project Management
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and technical background is a must (Revit or Sketchup or any other 3D program are a plus)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite package
  • An inner motivation, strong ambitions and a pragmatic approach
  • Analytical/Project Management skills required
  • A Detailed oriented & creative problem solver
  • Very strong Organization & Communication skills
  • An Innovative thinker with an eagerness to learn
  • Flexible mindset, positive attitude, high energy, strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Eligible to work in The Netherlands;
  • Professional proficiency of the English language (Other language can be a plus)
