THE ROLE

For this position, the Wholesale Assistant provides support in the day-to-day wholesale activities within the department ranging from data analysis/reporting, support on key account management, product and information flow management, direct contact with internal as well as external linkages of the Karl Lagerfeld brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivering constant support into the development of the wholesale business (prospection, market research, operations)
• Back Office management, both qualitative and quantitative (Sell-Through tracking, Sales Analysis, Illustrated Buys, SWAPs, reorders etc.)
• Providing assistance to the Wholesale Team
• Contacting with the customer service / logistics teams to track the products flow
• Working closely together with the wholesale team on projects from inception to production
• Setting up Sales Challenges for Key partners
• Handling after-sale service for partners
• Assisting in the maintenance of high standards at POS (trainings, VM, sales)
• Showroom: during the buying campaign, planning sales appointments/campaigns, driving the clients through the new collection and retrieving the selections, tracking the OTBs; maintaining showroom standards (Visual Merchandising/tidiness, client reception), supporting the sales team during sales campaigns
• Sample management
• Order management (order entry, deliveries)
• Assets distribution (marketing assets, product overviews, etc.)

THE PROFILE:

• Experience: 1^st internship in fashion/sales is a plus
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written; basic knowledge (or higher)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Proactivity, self-organization, ability to work independently
• Passion for fashion, strong interest in Wholesale
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset
• Ability to communicate openly, honestly and constructively
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Start date - ASAP
