The Role
For this position, the Wholesale Operations Intern provides support in the day to day wholesale activities within the department ranging from data analyses/reporting, supporting on key account management and managing product flows, being in direct contact with internal as well with external linkages of the Karl Lagerfeld brand and ensuring to maintain the retail approach within the wholesale business unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all outbound operations processes and be responsible for the results
• Support sales team and our customer as a first point of contact in the office by providing information on the line, prices, reporting and by being a link to the other departments in the organization
• Order book management
• Fully ownership of outbound flow of goods during the shipping season
• Maintain a helicopter overview of processes and information flow between production-, sales-, merchandising- and logistics department and anticipate implications for operations and our customers further down the line
• Provide management and the special accounts with shipping reports, sales reports
• To be able to challenge numbers and information derived from reports and spot mistakes immediately

Requirements

•  You are following a bachelor or master study and may also be required to hold any qualifications relating to Sales or Marketing
• Language: you are fluent in English, both verbal and written; French is a plus
• You have excellent skills with Microsoft office: Outlook, Excel, PPT
• You are strong in building and maintaining relationships and you admire to work with different departments and international people
• You are proactive and think ahead, bring structure in your work and are independent
• You communicate openly, honestly and constructively
• You have a strong interest in Wholesale and fashion
• You possess excellent customer service skills.
