Product Owner One Data Platform in Amsterdam

As the Product Owner for the One Data Platform Team you are part of the Data Analytics department. You are the connection between several stakeholders and your team.

Product Owner – One Data Platform Team

You work together with your team (The One Data Platform team or 1DPT) to deliver domain data stores across the bank

Your main responsibilities:

• Create a product vision for data platforms on the public cloud (Azure)
• Work closely together with stakeholders understand their use cases and functional requirements
• Work closely together with enabling teams (e.g. infrastructure and security teams) to cascade our requirements
• Create and manage a well-defined backlog for the team that work on platform and capabilities
• Creating a clear roadmap that is aligned with the business’ needs
• Create synergy between the products to standardize as much as possible

The One Data Platform Team consists of a number of subteams (streams): reliability engineering (RE), capability development and platform consultants and of course a product owner and scrum master.

We work in the data engineering community alongside a rapidly growing number of data teams both inside and outside the department, all of which have their own Domain Data Store (DDS).

Each data team serves a business line or domain and consists of data engineers, business analysts and more. We also work together with data scientists and machine learning engineering in the advanced analytics space to bring data engineering and machine learning closer together and create the most effective ecosystem for the bank.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner
• Experience with building SAAS/PAAS solutions;
• Experience with data solutions;
• Be familiar with the Azure components we use most heavily: Data Factor, Databricks, Data Lake Storage, Azure Functions;
• Analytical skills and experience with debugging software, performing impact, root cause analysis, and structural solutioning;
• Experience working with complex stakeholders landscape
• Teamplayer
• Good communication skills in English and Dutch
