As Consultant you contribute to the realisation of goals set by the grid and the improvement of (internal) client satisfaction. You work Agile and are responsible for the change and run activities for data management related deliverables from an (internal) client, organisation, process, system and tooling perspective.
We are currently developing a new data environment for Finance and Risk to collect and integrate data that can be consumed by our Finance and Risk stakeholders. In your role as consultant you play an important role in the logical (data model) design of the new datastore. It is important that you are experienced in data modelling and the design of data management capabilities like data lineage, ETL and data quality.
Because you are representing Risk Management you have sufficient (credit) risk knowledge to communicate with your stakeholders. You have good communication skills to determine their (data) requirements and translate these into designs that can be implemented by our engineers.
The team is approaching the testing phase, so experience on this (test strategy, testcases, etc.) is very beneficial.
You will work in the Value Proposition Team (VPT) team. This team is part of the Data Compliance and Strategy cluster within the RD&M grid. The grid is part of Risk Data & Analytics (RD&A) and plays an active role for all the Risk departments. We employ 100+ staff, all of whom share a passion for getting the most out of risk data. Our aim is to generate reliable risk data in good time. We do this by improving the risk data itself, data systems and data processes.
The cluster and team consist of international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring risk data management to structurally higher level. The atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal. We work hard, but there’s plenty of room for enjoyment!
Our ideal candidate drives success by smart thinking combined with a hands-on, can-do mentality. You are self-starting and pro-active in your approach. You have a good understanding of business drivers and relevant IT aspects, you like to find answers to questions that seem puzzling. That enables you to ‘connect the dots’ with regard to (a) translating stakeholder requirements into solutioning in the tooling, but also (b) assessing and visualising (potential) impact on the ‘bigger picture’ and ambitions. You like working in a team in which close collaboration is key and every team member takes ownership for his/her own deliverables. Obviously, you are able to communicate effectively.
Do you think you fit in with us? Check your profile:
• You’ve successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.) and have at least 4 years of relevant work experience, ideally in Data Modelling
• You have knowledge of Risk Management (primarily Credit Risk), and of data management components such as ETL and data lineage
• You have experience with and interest for testing – developing test strategy and cases
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage)
