Business Developer Advanced Analytics in Amersfoort

To strengthen the Client due diligence Advanced Analytics Platform team, we are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, self-starting Business Developer with proven track record to help further develop and embed the CAAP platform as the bank’s group-wide data solutions for DFC.

With CAAP we strive to be truly data driven and help the bank to be compliant with rules and regulations. Overall, we contribute to preventing financial crime and with it, be trustworthy as a bank for our clients and society in general.

Within DFC, different activities concerning detecting financial crime are merged into one organisation. Both in the Netherlands and our (Dutch and international) subsidiaries and challenger banks. By combining knowledge and expertise, we are better equipped to protect the bank’s systems against financial crime and handle new developments as well. In that context, ever-evolving technology represents both an opportunity and a threat. Not only does it help us to improve our investigative capabilities, it also enables organised crime to operate on a more advanced level. ‘Detecting financial crime’ is therefore an ‘ongoing process’ that demands the utmost in terms of our expertise and vigilance, day in day out.
 

As a Business Developer from the CAAP (Client due diligence Advanced Analytics Platform) team you’re the link in pin between business and IT. You gather the requirement from our stakeholders and translate them to the IT team via the Product Backlog. CAAP has many stakeholders: data analyst, data scientist, data owners and other application teams. There are many initiatives within DFC so it is important to maintain an overview on who is doing what, identify dependencies and set priorities. A Business Developer from the CAAP team should strive for structural solutions instead of quick fixes. 
Data is the foundation of everything we do, getting the data requirements Not only the stakeholders but also the data owners are important to manage here. Also taking into account the processes, the data governance and GDPR regulations. 
The platform has different advanced analytics solutions for different purposes, understanding these concepts is crucial to help the business with the right solutions.

• You are able to work and reason at university level 
• You have three to five years’ relevant experience in the field of KYC/CDD
• You have broad, demonstrable knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML), combating financing of terrorism (CFT) and sanctions legislation as well as related implementation processes and standards.
• You have demonstrable experience with Advanced Analytics solutions 
• You understand different data concepts
• You move easily in a complex field of internal and external stakeholders (interbank, other private/public parties, regulators)
• You are driven, analytical and have good communication and writing skills;
• You have extensive experience in the agile way of working
• You have experience of working and liaising with parties in the third line of defence.
