Within the Digital Processing Grid we strive to improve and digitalise the day-to-day experience of our clients and employees throughout all business lines of ABN AMRO. We take a leading role in designing and implementing the bank strategy for hyper automation, integrating both business and technology perspectives. As Business Developer you are part of a multi-disciplinary team (Value Proposition Block), responsible from finding the best solutions and supporting business lines to digitalise their processes. You constantly look out for new business and technology trends, identifying new tools and incorporating these into our organisation and ways of working to ensure that we continuously improve and adapt in our road towards hyper automation.

Your job involves a combination of activities, ranging from the definition and implementation of hyper automation strategies, to the intake of new business processes for digitalisation (by being able to match process requirements and business needs with technology feasibility; ensuring IT teams can pick processes for development). You will work closely with business and process experts across business lines, in close collaboration with innovation teams and with the Product Owners responsible for the IT implementation. To succeed in your role you’ll have a good understanding of what drives the client and employee experience and the IT landscape, and you are aware of the latest innovations within banking and digital. Most importantly, you are a connector, you build bridges and like to bring others together; you enjoy working with a diverse group of stakeholders from different backgrounds. Within the Grid and Block you take end-to-end responsibility for the required changes for a business line and/or a specific tooling domain; from ideation to implementation.

You will be part of an international team and deal with a multitude of stakeholders from different business lines and countries, where every day is different and where you can shape the future of our client and employee experience. Digital processing is part of the bank wide Theme Process Digitalisation, and is an integral part of the growth strategy of the bank. We play a key role is shaping the digital tools and user experience of our clients and employees; we work close with business experts and process designers to define digital solutions, and we act as a liking pin towards development teams, ensuring expected outcomes are met and constantly assessing potential for further improvement. We experiment with concepts around process digitalisation, such as BPM workflows, rapid application development, robotics and process mining, and tools such as electronic signature, digital document exchange and data analytics.

You enjoy combining think-work with execution. You understand stakeholder’s needs, and are able to deep dive in content and translate these needs into tangible actions. You can structure complex business topics, have affinity with IT and experience in the fields of technology, process and program management. In your development you strive for a T-shaped profile and to act as an informal leader.
We are looking for seasoned professionals with a strong interest in technology and with consulting experience. If you think your profile fits this list we are looking forward to meet you:
• Higher educational background (WO)
• 4 - 6 years of work experience　
• Proven experience in analysing and structuring complex problems, identifying solutions/ options and presenting your advice to stakeholders in a convincing and structured manner
• Strong interest in IT and innovation (e.g. Intelligent Automation/ Hyper Automation tools)
• Skilled in the exploration of technology tools, including interaction with innovation teams, vendors, and the ability to structure and steer the execution of Proofs of Concept
• Experienced in the context of process analysis; understanding of lean concepts and ability to interact with process experts, perform business analysis, structure business cases, and manage stakeholders throughout the implementation of innovative tooling and process solutions
• Experience with (scaled) Agile way of working (preferably)　
• The right attitude towards collaboration, exploration and getting-things-done. Ability to act as connector and lead by influence
• You are comfortable working in English on a daily basis
