With a combination of software & tools straight from the market leaders, and self-build top-of-the-line tooling, Data Distribution is the data heart of ABN AMRO which focusses on helping all other parts of the bank take data driven decisions, provide rapid access to data and turn data into value by means of all sorts of technologies and tools. We are the ones that make it possible for everyone to find and unlock the Data they need to make policy decisions and we are looking for you if this sounds like something you want to be a part of.

For this vacancy, we are looking for Developers who have experience or affinity with the data domain. To speed up and strengthen the data revolution we are searching for the best Development Engineers to join us. With joining us we mean that you help us; design, implement and support our IT Applications; Development with our tools and of our tools; interact with the whole organization from business lines to other development teams; innovate, experiment and help with setting up new technologies and structure and organize our code in a way that makes it sustainable and easy for change.

You work together with Development Engineers in small Agile teams (5-9 persons) within a DevOps culture. The whole team works in the same location (or nowadays through Teams). Here, you will focus on development with the latest technologies, such as self-build applications on the Public Cloud. The atmosphere is informal, and we are ok with making mistakes provided everyone is open about it and learns from them.

The teams are in constant collaboration with all business lines, international branches, and subsidiaries of the bank where we all work together at the frontier of a major digital revolution and with the core value-assets of the organization.

• You are an all-round Developer in every way, meaning you have experience with Front End, Back End and the layers in between
• You are certified and experienced in Microsoft Azure or willing, which is a must.
• You have experience with JavaScript and SPA Frameworks (such as Vue, Node and others).
• You have experience in Back-end development (Express, Jest, Kubernetes, Mocha, Cosmos sb and Neo4J).
• You understand the basics of CSS, VanillaJS, and HTML.
• You have experience with test and development automation.
• You have an exploratory mindset and are on the lookout for new developments and technology.
• You enjoy working in a fast paced and highly complex environment where you show a proactive attitude and focus on solutions rather than problems.
• You are the kind of person with a “can do” attitude and you are comfortable communicating within the team, but also Stakeholders and Management.
• An education in Computer Science, Information Sciences, Mathematics or Computer Science related fields.
