Test Automation Engineer in Amsterdam

Within the grid Apps & Digital Innovation (A&DI) we are responsible for the ABN AMRO mobile app, Grip and Tikkie. And at this moment we are looking for Test Automation Engineers. But what do we do exactly? The name of our grid might give it away; every day we work together to make a difference for our customers with our apps. Millions of customers use our apps on a daily basis. We develop these apps and innovations ourselves and with our colleagues; a real team effort!

You will be part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team. A team consists of a product owner, scrum master, development engineers, UX/VD designers, a business analyst and a tester. On a daily basis you work together, inside and outside your team, with mobile developers, designers and product owners. You are a confident problem solver, who wants to find every bug and solve it. You make sure that every user story has been tested thoroughly - by you and your teammates - before a sprint ends. You are an experienced professional but also open minded in learning new technologies and from the best practices. With this mindset and experience you automate testing and processes as much as possible. You like to be challenged and you pro-actively challenge others. Together with your teammates you grow.  Within the Quality Assurance Chapter you can share thoughts and ideas with your fellow engineers. As a person you are a strong communicator, and someone who can explain and transfer knowledge properly. You keep your head cool and keep the overview in stressful situations. Furthermore, you are someone how likes to try new things and gets involved in the matter. Feedback giving and getting comes naturally and speaking up is a second nature.

We would also like to learn fromyou in the area of test automation/quality assurance. Next to that, there are many options to broaden your knowledge even further in your expertise

• 2+ years of experience in mobile testing 
• Strong communication skills (verbal and writing) in both Dutch (native) and English 
• Familiar with at least 2 of the following tools: Jenkins, Xcode, Android Studio, ADB, Postman, Charles Proxy. 
• Experience with mobile test automation tools like Espresso an XCUITest 
• 3+ years’ experience in working Agile and/or DevOps
• Experience with API testing
• Experience with at least 2 of the following programming languages: Java, Kotlin, Swift, Ruby.
• Experience in an AWS/Azure environment is a plus.
