Respect the Mountains is looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and positive intern (m/f). This is an intense, fulltime internship that requires you to work from home and on different locations around Europe from May 2015 till August 2015.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting the Envirotrek Manager with all general preparations the Envirotrek Series 2015;
- Assisting the RTM Director with general duties within the organisation;
- Assisting with creating and developing all necessary media documents and updates;
- Assisting during Envirotrek Series and potential and other events: setting up the venue, helping to maintain a smooth and efficient event, able to think on your feet and make decisions when needed, keep a positive general and team atmosphere and ensure the safety and wellbeing of the participants;
- Assisting with writing evaluations, cleaning and storing equipment, and taking inventory of RTM stock after events.
Skills and Knowledge
- Good Writing and Design skills;
- Excellent Communication and Networking skills;
- Both team worker and able to work alone;
- Ability to deal with stress;
- Willing to be on the road for a minimum of four weeks during Summer 2014;
- Long working/overtime hours when needed no problem;
- ‘Can-do’mentality and problem solving abilities;
- Must be able to work from home and has own laptop;
- Able to lift heavy weights/ be physically fit to set up event on site;
- Self-motivated and the discipline to meet deadlines;
- Eye for detail and willingness to keep improving
Education and Specifications
- Able to work with social media, Microsoft office package and Google;
- Drivers license B;
- Fluent in Dutch and English,
- Able to speak French and German is a plus;
- Able to work with Design and Photo software is a plus;
- Interested in mountain environments, nature and (adventure) sports is a plus.
- Being a good amateur photographer is a plus;
- Dates you MUST be available: end of May 2015 and Mid June till end of July 2015

NB: This is an unpaid internship but all travel costs will be paid for by Respect the Mountains. You will also receive a pair of KEEN shoes and a full clothing set from Bergans of Norway, to be used for your work at the Envirotrek Series 2015.
