Our recruitment department is responsible for finding and attracting these talents for TravelBird. We do so by partnering up with the business and setting clear and success driven hiring strategies. As a recruitment intern, you will be supporting , , and  and it is your challenge to ensure that TravelBird is getting the right people in the right roles. Your proactive, flexible and adaptive attitude will help to find that unique star that will reinforce our company. During your recruitment internship, you will be responsible for hiring interns for different positions and departments across TravelBird. An internship at TravelBird will offer you plenty of opportunities to learn and grow within a dynamic and international environment.

Your Tasks

• Ownership of the full cycle recruitment process for our internships;
• Sourcing by using different channels and methods such as Boolean search, LinkedIn and Alumni groups;
• CV and telephone screenings;
• Conducting interviews with potential interns and making offers to suitable candidates;
• Liaising with hiring managers about recruitment processes and profiles;
• Making hiring decisions and offering positions to selected candidates;
• Understanding our cultural values and making them a vital part of assessing candidates;
• Assisting in different recruitment projects and events;
• Contributing to the further growth of TravelBird.
  
  

Who you are

• Creative, enthusiastic, flexible and very motivated to work;
• Studying a subject relevant to the internship (e.g. Human Resource Management, Business Administration)*;
• Loves travelling and exploring different cultures;
• Passionate about networking and keen to learn the ins and outs of recruitment;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Handles stress and pressure very well;
• Team player, but also capable of working independently;
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written;
• Available for a minimum period of 5 months full-time (no research);
• Living in Amsterdam or willing to move.

* You must be a student during the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution)
