Booking Office Trainee Amsterdam


This is an outstanding opportunity to join DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station.

Set in the heart of the historic city centre, adjacent to Amsterdam Centraal Station, the modern DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Amsterdam offers stunning city views and extraordinary service.

The first floor accommodates an extensive gallery space which fits 15 flexible meeting rooms. Short Job Description

As a Booking Office Trainee you will work closely with the Booking Office Manager and other team members to ensure that our outstanding state of the art product is successfully introduced in the Amsterdam marketplace. You will work at Individual Reservations as well as Meeting & Events department, depending on competencies and duration of the traineeship. You will support in the building and development of the Booking Office and therefore you need to have excellent communication skills and be confident in delivering exceptional customer service via the telephone. Furthermore you need strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and assist all team members.   Impeccable service ethics and attention to detail is essential to ensure the client / customer experience. The successful candidate will ideally have excellent sales skills in combination with eye for detail, experience with Opera PMS and Sales & Catering would be desirable for this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wishing to play an integral role in bringing a brand new hotel to the Amsterdam market, and building this hotel into a key destination for both business and leisure travellers. With seven fantastic hotels in the UK and plans for further expansion with future plans for further hotels in Edinburgh, London and mainland Europe it can be seen that the opportunities could be endless for the right candidate.
