Human Resources Trainee Den Haag

Beschrijving

Human Resources within The Hague Marriott is the overall management and administration of the human resources function. Specific responsibilities include hiring; employee/labor relations issues and investigations, wage and salary administration, training and development, affirmative action compliance, worker’s compensation and safety and the implementation of policies and programs as directed by Marriott.
 
As HR Trainee will support the Human Resource Managers with daily tasks and projects. The key tasks and responsibilities include:

Recruitment & selection

 
  • Assists with the administration of recruitment processes (create and update application tracking sheets, screen CV’s, in some cases communicate with applicants)
  • Assists with the communication to the heads of departments regarding updates etc.
  • Assist within Maintaining relations with hotel schools and other colleges to promote The Hague Marriott
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Employee relations
 
  • At all times project a favorable image of the company to promote its aim and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all of its areas of endeavor
  • Assist with the organization of social events
Administration
 
  • Prepare the starter and leaver packs of new team members
  • Create labor contract and administrate al staff information
  • Support the Corporate Intranet Team with maintenance and content management of the Intranet home page
Miscellaneous
 
  • Assist in organizing and visiting open days and recruitment fairs
  • Proactively make suggestions for improvements of internal processes or cooperation
  • Other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Human Resources Manager
  • Assisting in giving training and develop trainings
We are looking for a team player who commands a proactive and caring approach with strong social skills. We are looking for a person who meets the following profile:
 
  • A HBO student of a hospitality or HR related study who is available for at least
    6 months
  • Good communication skills in English and Dutch;
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to work independent
  • Flexible;
  • Hands-on mentality;
  • Organised;
  • Independent;
  • Affinity with the Hospitality industry;
  • A person who easily connects with others and can live up to our mission statement: make it brilliant!
