The function

We are currently looking for a Digital Analytics Intern to join Transavia. You have to love, love, love data, and you are eager to gain experience at an airline that is driven by digital innovation.

You will be expected to challenge opinions with facts. You have a curious mind, and are not afraid to ask questions. While coding experience in R is not a prerequisite, you have to be a fast learner with a strong quantitative background.

In return, you will get your hands dirty in the world of online data. The size of datasets you will be working with will make MS Excel look like a fax machine. You will work on projects ranging from dashboarding, experimentation and data governance to quantifying KPI’s, online behaviour modeling and predictive analytics. You will learn to use tools such as Google Analytics, Optimizely or Adwords with your eyes closed. You will be taught how to use R on web data to deliver insights to relevant stakeholders across the organization.

Your profile

- Student or recent graduate from a quantitative program;
- Able and willing to learn working with the latest data analysis tools;
- Affinity for data visualisation and translating insights into compelling stories;
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts;
- Organized and able to multitask;
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken;
- Strong interest in data and e-commerce.
