HBO stage: Setting up a Business Plan for new and existing Dealers to explain the profitability of DAF MultiSupport in Eindhoven

The Commercial Services department works closely with the independent dealer network, whereby the extent to which these dealer are committed to selling R&M contracts is crucial to reach the desired targets. We are looking for a student who is able to work with multiple departments to create a Business Plan for Dealers so that we can show the profitability of MultiSupport business and emphasize it is worthwhile investing in.
 
Concrete activities:

• Different markets in Europe to collect the data required for the Business Plan
• The existing DAF Multisupport P&L structure for Dealers
• Competition in the defined markets
• Operations and developments of the Dealers

• Generic Business Plan for dealers that are interested in DAF MultiSupport

Jouw profiel

For this internship assignment we are looking for an analytically strong HBO candidate, with a feel for Business and Finance. You are hands-on, independent, strong in communication in English and driven to bring this assignment to a more than good result. You are able to analyze the structure and products, research markets and review financials.
 

Afdeling

Commercial Services is responsible within DAF Trucks N.V., among other things, for the sale of repair and maintenance contracts under the name “DAF MultiSupport”. The repair and maintenance contracts of DAF MultiSupport reduce risk for DAF customers and ensure that the customer can continue to focus on the core activities of their own company. The services offered by DAF MultiSupport vary from just the prescribed maintenance to covering the costs caused by breakdowns.
